At least two new guys she's usually hanging out with are actively hitting on her. She and her sis are on vacation at their hometown, and they're usually hanging out with one of Taylor's friends there, and the friend's friends. Apparently, it's not a small group, and there are a few guys in the group as well. When we were chatting, Taylor hinted some of them might be interested in her, but she didn't make a big deal out of it. She just jokingly said some of the guys seemed to be staring at her. I just played it off and jokingly said of course they would, considering how hot she looks.
I'd been checking her insta, and I saw two guys have DMed her so far who are from this friend group. They'd been occasionally saying some stuff like she looked hot, how much fun they had the other night, etc. Surprisingly, Taylor also seemed to be lightly flirting back but just left it at a couple of exchanges.
My neighbor also DMed her back then, but they didn't talk much. He replied to a story of hers with flame emojis and asked if she's on vacation. Then he just asked a couple more stuff about where she's at, when she'll be back but that's it.
And two days later, she went out with that friend group again, and those two guys were there. I know because she posted a story with everyone there. The day after, she went to the beach with some friends, and one of those guys was among those friends. Again, she didn't tell me who was there (I also don't know any of these people except her sis and her friend), but I saw the guy from the story she posted.
Then, the day after that, the same guy asked her for a date, and she fucking accepted it. He asked if she'd like to hang out sometime this week, and she said sure, why not. They talked about the day for a bit and decided on this Thursday. I've tried to get her to tell me about this guy, but she didn't tell me anything. Based on their DMs they'll meet for a dinner and then will join the others from the group at a bar. But when I asked her about her plans tomorrow, she just said she'll hang out with her friends in the evening. The other guy also DMed her and teased her about the date tomorrow. He said it'd only be fair if she lets him take her out too. She said sure, he can take her out this weekend.
And finally, my neighbor DMed her again. He replied to her story from the beach and said "damn, I'd love to see that ass in that bikini". She replied "yeah, I bet you would", and sent a winking emoji. They didn't exchange any other text so far, but… I don't know, I feel like he'll be on to her when she comes back.
I honestly don't know how to feel. I feel like everything was slow-paced and under control so far, but in a couple of days she both accepted dates from another guys, and teased my neighbor. And she didn't even mention anything to me. This is really, really out of character of Taylor. People hit on her before, but she never ever responded positively, let alone accepting a date from them. I think, just as I hoped and tried to achieve, the events of these past months triggered something inside her and she's somehow trying to explore her options. I hope we make some significant progress after her date(s)? with these two guys.
