My wife and I started into the lifestyle around 2002. We had lots of fun, fulfilled lots of fantasies, and had a daughter who doesn’t share my genes 16 years ago.
In November of ’24 my wife went in for a surgery. Shit went wrong, she almost died of sepsis, she’s been out of work since then, we’re homeless, and she has to have her stomach totally removed next week to fix what the first surgeon screwed up.
Ever since I saw her on that ventilator and couldn’t talk to her for almost 2 months, I’m not able to share her. I can’t. Our marriage has always come before play. I told her I’m not ruling it out forever, but for now I need her and she needs me. I can’t fantasize about her with other men anymore.
Anyone else go through a massive life change that put them off either temporarily or permanently? How did you deal with it? Do you go back to the lifestyle or did you walk away forever?
